Performance S&C Screen | For sports enthusiasts
£300.00
A 3-hour, complete athlete profile: targeted movement screening, maximal strength, dynamic and explosive power, neuromuscular control, bone density, body composition, resting metabolic rate, and a CPET economy test. Not just how you move and how strong you are — how efficiently your engine actually uses that fitness at race-relevant intensity. Eight domains, read as one picture.
Description
Eight tests, each measuring a genuinely different physical or physiological mechanism, read together as one athlete profile — so when something’s limiting you, the report can tell you which of several possible causes it actually is, mechanical or metabolic, and the training plan that follows is built around that specific cause.
Who this is for
Athletes in any sport who want a real baseline before committing to a training block — not a guess dressed up as a plan. Particularly valuable if you’ve plateaued despite training hard, keep picking up the same niggle, train at a load high enough that bone stress and RED-S risk are genuine considerations, or want the full picture of both your mechanics and your physiology before deciding where the next block of training actually needs to go.
What’s included
– Foundational movement screen (8 tests) — single-leg squat and step-down (movement control), ankle dorsiflexion and hip flexor length/Thomas test (mobility), side plank and bird dog (core), calf raise and split squat capacity (strength), each scored left and right independently.
– Max Strength Testing (3 tests) — isometric mid-thigh pull, isometric squat, isometric calf raise — true maximal force, safely, without a 1RM attempt.
– Power Training Assessment (4 tests) — countermovement jump, single-leg hop and drop-jump reactive strength index (dynamic power), plus isometric rate of force development — dynamic and explosive power kept distinct, because they’re different mechanisms.
– Neuromuscular Control Assessment (3 tests) — landing mechanics (video + sensor), single-leg dynamic balance, and reactive perturbation response.
– Bone density screening (heel ultrasound) — a real, often-skipped consideration under high training load, where stress-fracture and RED-S risk build silently.
– Body composition (bioelectrical impedance) — lean mass and fat mass, including segmental left/right data cross-referenced against your strength and power asymmetries.
– Resting metabolic rate — your true measured calorie burn at rest via indirect calorimetry, the foundation for accurate training nutrition rather than a formula-based guess.
– CPET economy test — your oxygen cost at race-relevant pace or power, showing whether your engine is genuinely efficient at the intensity you actually race at, not just how fit you test as in isolation.
What you get
One integrated report, not eight separate printouts. If your right-leg hop power is down, the report traces whether that’s a strength deficit, a mobility restriction, a landing-control issue, or something metabolic showing up as fatigue — because all eight are read against each other. Every recommendation is tied to the specific test and side that flagged it, not a generic programme handed to every athlete who walks through the door.
