Video and motion-sensor analysis captured while you hold race pace or race power, focused only on the technique markers that actually cost you energy: ground contact time and cadence for runners, pedalling cadence and technique for cyclists — both read against your own centre of mass. Two athletes with the same engine can be leaking different amounts of energy through form. This is where you find yours.

Description

Two athletes can post the same VO2 at the same pace and still not be equally efficient — technique is where the difference hides. This assessment is video and IMU (motion sensor) capture taken during sustained effort, analysed specifically for the movement markers linked to economy — not a general once-over.

For runners: ground contact time, cadence, and landing position relative to your centre of mass. Landing position is read from video rather than the sensors — a camera can see where your hip sits relative to your foot at touchdown in a way a sensor on your body can’t.

For cyclists: pedalling cadence and technique through the pedal stroke, and how your knee tracking and hip position hold up as fatigue sets in through the effort — the same economy-first lens applied to the bike.

Every measure is reported with a confidence flag, not presented as more certain than the capture allows — where signal quality is marginal, you’re told, not left to assume the number is exact.

What you’ll get:

– Ground contact time, cadence, and landing-position analysis (running), or pedalling cadence and technique (cycling)
– Confidence flags on every measure, so you know what to trust and what to treat as indicative
– Practitioner-reviewed video alongside the sensor data — not a fully automated readout
– Training recommendations targeted at whichever measure is actually costing you energy — a cadence drill, a technique cue, specific S&C work — not generic advice

Best paired with the Physiology assessment for the full picture: what your engine is doing, and what your form is costing you on top of it — but stands alone if you only need the movement side.
