2021 discovery series

embrace opportunity

Our 2021 wellness day will be delivered on-line on Saturday 20th March 2021.

Our fantastic coaches and experts bring you a day-long programme of wellness focussed seminars and exercises to lift your spirits and re-energise. Creating and maintaining a positive mindset, particularly after the last year, is challenging. Take a day to re-focus on you.

You will enjoy a unique interactive experience, with group exercise and movement, stimulating and informative seminars on mind and nutrition, a lunch cook-along and focussed, smaller breakout groups, along with a keynote  talk from Fiona Ford on Finding Growth and Motivation through Adversity.

Everyone will get access to recordings of the day. Limited places are available, so don't miss out and book your place today.

WHole Being, Well being

"If you prioritise yourself and your physical and mental health, your body responds accordingly." Haley Justice shares her tips for keeping a  positive mental attitude and sustaining a healthy lifestyle during lockdown.  It is easy to forget to look out for ourselves.

Moving forward

Finding growth and motivation through adversity. International triathlete, Fiona Ford, suffered a life changing  accident whilst cycling  in summer 2012. After three years of rehabilitation including learning to walk again, Fiona won her age group at Windsor triathlon!  Join us as she shares what she learned about herself and resilience during the long road back to the start line.

eating for energy

Do you want to know how to eat for energy and motivation? Jackie Lynch will guide you through the best foods to pack a punch and ensure you avoid the highs and lows of an unbalanced diet. Jackie will be pleased to answer your questions in a short post-session Q&A, followed by our lunch preparation cook-along with Becky, to put theory into practice.

HIIT @ home

For a mid morning boost Annabel will put us through our paces. Annabel believes that fitness should be fun, so she will get our heart rates up with a combination of HIIT, body resistance strength, Abs 5 and power pilates.  There really is something for everyone.

pilates

Core strength is achievable – and helps to prevent injury. Join Linda Segerstam as she guides us through several exercises that can be fitted in throughout your day (at your desk or mat work) to avoid the postural issues, lethargy and strain caused by too much desk time, screen time and working from home.

Coping strategies

How to cope on the days when you just can’t cope. Ruth Devlin, RCN, will share tips and tricks to get us through the low days. Whether you know you have a difficult day coming up, or it is just one of “those days” there are coping mechanisms that may help you.

yoga and meditation

Helene Brissiet, hopefully based live at the Chateau de la Motte Henry, will deliver a group yoga and meditation class to end our day. Helene, tailors her classes to all levels and will help you end the day relaxed and re-energised.

no need to miss anything

We are recording all day and will, after a quick bit of editing, provide you with access to all the materials from the day. So, if you have to miss a session or two, you won't miss out. You can also look back at some of the key messages in the future to reinforce what you've gleaned.
