coaching options
During the week there will be a series of swim-bike-run clinics for adults and children - beginners, intermediates and advanced athletes. Swim sessions will be led by Swim Generation and Group Evolution, bike rides by local ride leaders and Forge 1860 and run clinics led by Group Evolution and our run sponsor. There will also be daily rides and runs plus strength and conditioning, yoga and pilates classes. Places will be limited so we will open a festival program one month beofre the Festival, where you will be able to choose the sessions you wish to join in on.
Additionally, Group Evolution and its partners will be running a series of 1-2-1 sessions to assess your overall strength and conditioning and your swim-bike-run technique. Using some of the latest sports sceince techniques you can get your swim stroke analysed your running gait reviewed and your bike fit honed, you can even have your bike aerodynamics checked.
For those that want to relax there will be massage sessions and other treatments on site. And for the adventurous excursions and activities to local Chateaux, vineyards and markets will be organised, during the week.
Race options
Come to our Chateau ready to take on the challenges that await. We will be supporting a 100 mile bike ride into the Alpes Mancelles, a half marathon along the traffic-free Mayenne towpath and a 3km swim at a local open water swimming lake. The local triathlon takes place on Bastille Day, with supersprint and sprint races for adults and kids that attracts over 500 competitors annually. We are proud to sponsor this closed road, brilliantly organised event.
