OUR COMMUNITY

WE RISE BY LIFTING OTHERS

We engage fully with each of our communities – our member community, client community and local community – both in the UK and France. We aim to create a thriving, sporting ‘collective’ that grows with its communities, as they become better informed, purposefully active and a part of the larger wellness movement. We assist in this by helping to educate, facilitating participation and building lasting relationships.

Become our best.

BUILDING FOUNDATIONS

We encourage active participation in our community through nutrition demonstrations, our running club and group sessions. And we look to nurture young talent through our youth development program, offering free guidance and support, alongside an athlete bursary program. Finally, Team Evolution provides the opportunity for our community to compete as part of our Team, benefiting from training support, product discounts and free training sessions.

The London Marathon is an iconic race. It has a reputation for being quite a fast, flat and fun course. However, get your race prep or your race strategy wrong and, like any other race, it will be a struggle. This webinar is there to give you final, critical advice, often over-looked in training plans. What is the start like, where should you conserve energy and where should you push. What are the nutrition stations like and where is the course at its toughest? We look at the course in detail and discuss the finer details so that you are fully prepared. Newbies will get the most out of this webinar but there are useful hints for all.

Fostering the power of the mind is necessary to optimise performance. Recent research has shown that wasted mental processes, especially negative emotions use up the same energy substrates needed for energy metabolism. Therefore, it is all the more important to manage anxieties, maintain motivation, set the right goals and keep on an even emotional keel. Otherwise performance suffers. This seminar helps you understand how important it is to evolve mental fortitude, often key in unlocking a new level of performance and gives some important guidance on how to achieve this, in a sport specific context.

Refreshments will be available. Numbers strictly limited.

We want to encourage our members to get together socially. Our free, member only, running club will be a tad serious but also social. Well-designed sessions for all abilities will stretch attendees but in a way designed to open their eyes to new styles or types of training session.

At the same time we will ensure that the sessions retain a fun and light-heartedly competitive element. As they run during the competitive season for most sports the sessions will all focus on enhancing performance rather than building foundations.

As well as the standard discount for members applied on all our Performance Evolution services and Group Evolution retreats, our products are offered to members from our partners at further discounted rates.

Personalised coaching from degree qualified sports professionals and elite level coaches dedicated to improving your performance. Detailed analysis of technique, physical capacity and diet is supplemented by group activities in the beautiful Pays de la Loire. Our members get the opportunity to train at our facility on top-class equipment. Practice swimming in our fastlane, rehab on our underwater treadmill, book our cycling studio with fellow members, use our top notch running studio or specialist gym studio. You will beat the crowds and immerse yourself in a boutique gym environment, away from home. Rates can be per session or for blocks of sessions and cover basic (gym, treadmill or cycling ergometer use) or advanced (cycling studio, swim studio, rehab treadmill) equipment.

There are limitations on the amount of sessions that can be booked by members to ensure that we can accommodate our Performance Evolution clientele and this is reflected in a heavily discounted price.

And Rebecca’s food blog provides regular practical advice on healthy eating with a purpose. We provide special offers and promotional discounts on particular food, drink and supplementation; alongside specialised cooking equipment.

The resource also offers guidance on sports nutrition and supplementation, regularly reviewing the latest research, critically appraising the latest fads and critiquing some of the latest sports nutrition products.

Youth Development

We aim to provide a supportive environment for young sportspeople so that they can push themselves further and develop their core  mental, physical and technical competencies. As part of this  we look to engage with and support such athletes with access to stimulating, relevant and educational information and experiences.

Targeted days for youth training in partciular skill attributes and sports specific skills. Acquiring skills in a focussed and fun way has been shown to ensure these skills can be deployed under pressure as sportspeople develop. These days are enjoyable and engaging but underpinned with cutting edge sports science. During the day current functional strength, conditioning and movement will be assessed along side helpng to develop sports specific skills. Attendees will be looked after by our CRB checked practioners.

Youth skills camps will give young sportspeople an appreciation of what it takes to progress in sport. They will be suited to enthusiastic participants who are looking to take their sport seriously but who also want to immerse themselves in an enjoyable but highly active training camp.

Staffed by qualified, CRB checked coaches and sports scientists, attendees will gain real insight into their own strengths and weaknesses as well as guidance how to evolve themselves to take the next step up.

A program of free seminars arranged by Performance Evolution to inspire youth sportspeople. Often delivered in conjunction with young, elite level athletes to share their real-world experiences.

Our youth blog directly addresses many of the challenges that face young sportspeople. How do you develop your strength and conditioning as you mature? How can you improve your speed, power, strength and stamina to meet the needs of your favoured sports? What is the best way to improve my skill level? The blog intends to address all these areas and more, offering relevant advice in an age appropriate format, but also in a way which is of interest to parents and youth coaches.

Team Evolution

Become affiliated to the Team Evolution family.  Unlike most clubs we are not focused on a single sport,  but provide instead a cross-discipline environment based around common, core values, shared by our founders, practitioners and affiliates. Becoming a Team Evolution affiliate gives you access to our team by e-mail, discounted services across the Group (additional to those for members), organised group training and discounts on products and Team Evolution apparel.

Become your best.

A Sponsored Athlete represents the elite end of Group Evolution training. They represent the Group and our community, embodying our values and ethos. Each athlete is chosen to represent the brand on individual merit.

Becoming a Sponsored Athlete is by invitation only. TE Seniors are invited to become sponsored if they have demonstrated consistent performance in their chosen discipline and the right attitude to their training, racing and sport as a whole.

Sponsored Athletes will have access to discounts and also a variety of free products provided in conjunction with our product partners. They will also be supported by a dedicated member of our staff.

Team Evolution is a high performance, cross discipline club for those dedicated to improving their sporting performance. TE Seniors get a variety of benefits, in addition to those offered to standard members, namely: an additional 10% discount on all Performance Evolution services and Group Evolution Retreats; access by e-mail to a dedicated sports scientist throughout the year; access to specialist group training sessions throughout the year; discounts on all our products and training apparel. You will be supported in your ambitions and meet like-minded individuals. TE Seniors also have the opportunity, by invitation, to become one of our sponsored athletes.

Our bursaries are offered to those young sportspeople from our local community who are dedicated to becoming the best they can be.

Such sportspeople need to have already shown a dedication to their chosen sport and a promising level of performance. However, we do not select simply on ability and will strongly take into account disadvantaging factors, whether these be time constraints, socio-economic factors or the difficulty in participating in some ‘niche’ sports.

We will provide our service to successful applicants free of charge and provide them with specialist support and guidance, mentoring and kit. We will also work with you and your team (parents, coaches, family) with practical assistance where possible.

The bursaries may be supported by external sponsors and before taking up a bursary you may be asked to sign up to a code of conduct, failure to comply with this may result in the withdrawal of the bursary
