Adults

Whether you are looking to take on a new sporting challenge, return to sport after injury or inactivity, achieve a PB, or qualify for your age group world championships; we have the package to help you become your best.

Provided by experienced, degree-qualified practitioners, we tailor our support to harness strengths and minimise weaknesses, so that you benefit to the maximum extent possible.

Youth

Our packages for young, aspiring athletes aim to inform, motivate  and encourage their development during this critical period. Our CRB checked practitioners ensure we provide our services  in an engaging and enjoyable way, whilst matching, if not exceeding,  the level of in-depth, research proven, assessment, planning  and training support that we offer our more mature clients.

Adults

We understand that amateur athletes have a number of calls on their time. Balancing training with hectic work and life schedules is not simple and requires dedication and focus. Our packages allow you to target your training to optimal effect.

We meet you, listen to you and learn about you. We assess your current baseline, utilising ‘gold standard’ testing protocols, which are tailored to you, the demands of your sport, and your objectives. We then prepare your training schedule, which addresses the four pillars of performance: mental preparedness, physiological conditioning, strong technique and healthy nutrition. This is then developed with you to ensure it fits in with your life.

Finally, we help implement your plans, providing 1-1, hands-on assistance, mentoring and guidance.

Some of our clients know precisely which package to choose, many do not. If you need further guidance please do not hesitate to contact us.

Choose your path, evolve your performance.

We understand that you may well be happy with the bulk of your coaching and training arrangements, but may want to get another level of input on particular areas or across the board. We can package these services for you so that you get bespoke assistance at a discount. Come for a free initial consultation or discuss your circumstances over the ‘phone. If you want specific physiological testing, technical analysis and training, to work with those experienced in sports psychology or to balance you and your family’s diet, or simply a tailored combination; we can help.

We will happily meet, discuss your circumstances and tailor your package.

If you book more than 5 services you will get a 20% discount on the total package, and if you book more than 10, 30%. All of our packages above include over 10 services so the benefits are there to be had. Evolve your performance.

Our Ready to Play offer gives you the support you need to safely return to sport and to perform capably, building a foundation that will enable you to flourish in the future.

Initially, we will meet with you to learn more about you and, in 2-3 sessions, conduct a series of assessments, focussed heavily on your physiology, technique and diet. These will include: a musculoskeletal screen, functional movement analysis and body composition test to assess your preparedness for sport; a neuromuscular power assessment and appropriate technique analysis to evaluate your power and how well you apply it to dynamic movement; and a RMR and sub-maximal VO2Max Test to assess your cardiovascular fitness.

Following testing, we will develop appropriate programs that: help you meet your sporting ambitions; maximise your chances of remaining injury free; and, perhaps most importantly, fit around your life and your constraints. This will include strength & conditioning and training programs specific to your sport and your level of competence. Each program will be adjusted 3-4 times as you progress and cover the first 6 months of your return to sport.

Additionally, we will provide 2, 1-1 personal conditioning sessions and 2, 1-1 personal coaching sessions. The first session in each, will demonstrate the program basics to you and the second will assess your progress. Finally, we will help you as you progress by skype/phone (1hr each month) or e-mail (unlimited).

Over 30 hours of dedicated professional support and a package of services worth over £2,200 (if bought separately). Great times!

Your dedicated sports scientist is matched to you due to their knowledge and understanding of your circumstances. At an initial consultation we discuss your personal and sporting background and your ambitions for the future. We introduce you to our team and explain how we can assist you.

At a series of 3-4 assessment sessions we test your mental preparedness, physiological capacity, technical capabilities and nutritional habits. We assess: musculoskeletal foundation, neuromuscular power generation, dynamic movement competency, cardiovascular conditioning (anaerobic capacity, lactate threshold and VO2Max), respiratory function (inspiratory muscle strength, dynamic lung function), technical aptitude and sports specific skills, body composition and energy metabolism (including RMR), sports nutrition strategy (incorporating sweat test) and dietary habits.

We discuss test results, providing a report to your coaches (if desired). In consultation, we identify areas for improvement and analyse your existing training regime to see what adjustments can be made, either designing completely new programs or adapting your existing ones. Such programs cover strength, conditioning, sport specific training and a full nutrition plan (for home and sport, including training and racing). We provide iterations of these programs as you progress, for 6 months.

Once the plan is in place, we help you implement it. Key personal coaching, conditioning and biomechanical support is available to you (7 hours total) for 1-1 sessions. We give you access to our on-line dietary resources (recipes, cooking tips, preferred suppliers, selected supplements, etc). And we offer 3 race consultations to help you mentally prepare for the challenges ahead. Finally, we support you as you progress by skype/phone (1hr each month) and e-mail (unlimited).

Over 70 hours of dedicated professional support and a package of services worth over £4,600 (if bought separately). The difference, captured!

You started with the best objectives: get fit; lose weight; achieve one of your goals. But life or injury or both has got in the way: is it really worth it?

We want you to achieve what you set out to do, but will give you realistic advice if it is not possible. Our free, 30min consultation helps us determine if we can help you and you determine whether you have the time and energy. If we both decide to carry on, we quickly conduct our assessments: a strength and conditioning screen; cardiovascular conditioning tests; sports specific movement analysis; and RMR tests. These give us a much fuller picture of your race preparedness and current conditioning, from which we can develop highly bespoke training programs.

Such programs cover all your training in the lead into the race (strength & conditioning, cardiovascular conditioning and sport specific technical training) and provide a race nutrition strategy, tailored to your physiology.

Once this plan is in place we help you implement it. 2 personal conditioning or personal coaching sessions are included (more can be added) to take you through the programs and help you with any technical adjustments. A member of staff is available by e-mail to answer any questions. And, we also plan a competition consultation, to allay your fears and re-motivate you for the race itself, and a race strategy consultation, to help you plan your race and race nutrition.

In total, we will spend over 20 hours, dedicated to getting you over the line and the services you will receive as part of this package are worth over £1,200 if bought separately. Get back on track!

Evolve to achieve your best. We investigate every aspect of your performance - mental, physical, technical and nutritional - and look to improve each aspect, ensuring you develop the capacity to perform at your desired level.

After an initial consultation, covering your sporting and injury history and your personal motivations and constraints, we conduct a series of tests, at 3 separate sessions. These give us a comprehensive, objective assessment of your baseline capacity and include: strength assessments (musculoskeletal performance, neuromuscular power, core strength and balance); cardio-respiratory conditioning tests (lactate threshold, VO2Max); sport specific movement analysis (dynamic movement and skills competency); energy metabolism (RMR test); and a 1-1 consultation to discuss your mental approach to training and competition.

Once a baseline is established we look for areas to enhance and design training programs in consultation with you. These programs seek to help you improve your performance and protect you against injury, whilst fitting into your everyday life. They include sport specific strength, conditioning and training programs and a sports nutrition plan, for training and racing. Each program is adjusted 3-4 times as you progress and covers 6 months of training and competition.

Additionally, we include 3 x 1-1 conditioning sessions, 3 x 1-1 coaching sessions and 2 x 1-1 race consultations. The first coaching and conditioning sessions run through the program basics and the second and third assess progress. The race consultations take place by arrangement and assist you in your mental preparation and race strategy. Finally, we support you as you progress by skype/phone (1hr each month) and e-mail (unlimited).

Over 60 hours of dedicated professional support and a package of services worth over £3,000 (if bought separately). Achieve your best!

We understand the importance of family and that modern lives often keep us apart much of the week. Once kids develop their sporting interests, much of this time is also spent apart (or with parents on the sidelines). The Family Fun package re-engages the whole family, around their sporting interests. We stimulate the mind, condition the body, enhance the technique and improve the diet of each family member.

Initially, we assess you at 2-3 separate sessions. In the first, we focus on screening your strength, conditioning and dynamic movement, in the context of each of your favoured sports. CRB checked coaches oversee the session to ensure that they are challenging, educational and enjoyable but also give us the necessary baseline data. At the next session we assess cardio-respiratory conditioning (including VO2Max tests), walking biomechanics and conduct individual running, cycling or swimming technique analyses (you each get to choose). In parallel, we review your family’s dietary habits.

We utilise the information gathered to develop individual training programs for each family member covering strength, conditioning, sports specific movement and technique. These programs identify family sessions and group sessions which can be conducted together, at home, outside or in a gym. Active games are incorporated which are designed to promote movement skills relevant to your sports. We also provide a dietary plan with advice on sample menus, cooking techniques, food and supplement sourcing guidance.

We then support you in implementing the plans. We provide, in total: 6 family coaching and conditioning sessions; a food preparation and cooking session (with plenty of healthy snacks on the menu!); and a family ‘brunch’ seminar that discusses competition and how to physically and mentally prepare for it, with some interesting exercises in team work and trust. Finally, you receive monthly meal plans and Diet Evolution membership, giving you access to our database of recipes, food preparation tips and food sourcing guidance (launching mid 2018).

If you were to break down this package into its components it would cost over £6,000 for a family of 4. By training you together we can give you the same level of service for under £100 per week.

Every athlete experiences injury at some stage. The initial assessment and possible surgery are shocking, but the long, seemingly endless, path to recovery is full of frustration and boredom. We aim, in consultation with your medical team, to accelerate and enhance your rehabilitation experience.

Having thoroughly assessed your case, we conduct a series of practical tests (2-3 sessions), tailored to your stage of rehabilitation. These include: a strength and conditioning screen to identify the injury's impact on strength, power, balance and flexibility; a sports specific movement analysis to see how your movements now respond to the demands of your sport; a RMR analysis to assess your energy needs; and a 1-1 consultation to discuss your current fears and uncertainty and future objectives.

Having got the data, we start planning your path back. We provide: a progressive, sports specific, strength and conditioning program; a dietary plan to support training but also manage weight gain; and provide techniques to build mood, self-confidence and goal orientation during this frustrating time.

We also help you implement the plan, providing: 6 tailored personal coaching and personal conditioning sessions; weekly dietary assistance and meal planning; 2 back-to-action preparation sessions, helping you overcome remaining mental or physical barriers; and contact with a personal coach via skype/phone (2 hours per month) and e-mail (unlimited). Finally, we reassess you at the end of rehab to ensure compensatory asymmetries that have arisen as a result of injury are identified and addressed.
